Lucknow: Thakurganj police have successfully solved a theft case and arrested the accused involved in the crime. The incident took place on February 11, when the victim had left home to attend preparations for her nephew’s wedding. Taking advantage of her absence, the accused broke into her house and committed the theft.
Following the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case and immediately launched an investigation to track down the suspect. Acting swiftly, the police identified and arrested the accused, Naseem alias Tenchi, who was responsible for executing the crime.
During the arrest, the police recovered stolen jewelry worth approximately ₹1 lakh and ₹18,000 in cash from the accused. The operation was conducted under the leadership of Thakurganj SHO Shrikant Rai, with SI Hussain Abbas and his team playing a crucial role in nabbing the culprit.
The police have assured the public of their commitment to maintaining law and order and urged citizens to remain vigilant against such crimes.
